An American-Palestinian teenager after completing 270 days in Israel's custody without charge was released.
Mohammed Ibrahim was 15 when he was arrested this past winter throughout the West Bank territory, where he was visiting while residing in Florida accused of stone-throwing at Jewish settlers, which he previously denied.
United States authorities applauded Mohammed's liberation.
Mohammed, now 16, needed medical care for treatment immediately after release, family members reported.
According to them, he appears pale, underweight, and experiencing medical problems acquired while detained.
Through an official statement, Mohammed's uncle conveyed their "immense relief".
The uncle, Zeyad Kadur said the family had been "surviving a terrible, unending nightmare" during the entire detention period.
"Currently, we're concentrating on providing Mohammed with the immediate medical attention necessary for his recovery after being subjected to mistreatment by authorities and brutal treatment for months."
US officials announced ongoing to extend consular services for the Ibrahim family.
{"American leadership has no higher priority to the protection and welfare of US citizens"," it added.
Several congressional representatives submitted a formal letter to the state department and President Donald Trump, demanding more be done to release him.
Mr Ibrahim, with four children who runs an ice cream business in Florida, previously claimed Mohammed acknowledged allegations to throwing stones because the soldiers beat him.
The father hadn't visited or spoken to Mohammed following the detention, learning information solely regarding the treatment in detention through court documents.
Mohammed was held absent formal charges within Ofer penitentiary throughout the occupied territory.
The facility also contains adult prisoners, featuring prisoners sentenced of serious terrorism offences and homicide.
There are around several hundred young Palestinian detainees being held in Israeli jails, based on prison authority data.
Several lack formal charges along with monitoring agencies, as well as the United Nations, report instances of mistreatment and torture.
Subsequent to his liberation, the uncle stated relatives would persist in advocating for justice for his cousin Sayfollah Musallet.
The dual national youth per medical officials succumbed to assault by settlement residents during a confrontation during summer.
During that period, the Israeli military said officials were investigating accounts of a Palestinian was deceased.
Both young men had worked together within the family's frozen treats establishment from Tampa.
No one has been charged for the cousin's murder.
"We anticipate US authorities to safeguard our relatives," Mr Kadur said.
